Products & Quality

All Optimus Peptides compounds meet a minimum purity specification of greater than or equal to 99% before dispatch. Purity is documented on each batch Certificate of Analysis.

Yes. A batch-specific Certificate of Analysis is available for every product we supply. The CoA includes measured purity (%), confirmed molecular weight, net weight, and storage conditions.

To request your CoA, please contact us with your order reference number and the batch number printed on your vial. We will provide the CoA promptly by email.

All peptides are supplied as lyophilised (freeze-dried) powder in sealed amber glass vials with tamper-evident closures. Lyophilisation provides maximum stability for long-term storage and ease of reconstitution for research use.

Vials are not pre-reconstituted. You will need to reconstitute the peptide in the appropriate solvent for your research protocol - typically bacteriostatic water for injectable-grade applications, or a suitable research buffer.

Lyophilised (unopened): Store at −20°C in a dry environment, protected from light. Under these conditions, lyophilised peptides are stable for up to 24 months.

Reconstituted: Store at 2–8°C and use within 28 days (14 days for GHK-Cu). Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, which can degrade peptide integrity. Aliquot reconstituted solutions for long-term storage if needed.

All storage recommendations are printed on the vial label and included in the Certificate of Analysis.

The appropriate reconstitution solvent depends on the specific peptide and its intended research application:

  • GLP-RT, GLP-TZ, MT-2, GLP-SM: Bacteriostatic water (0.9% benzyl alcohol in water for injection) is the standard solvent, providing antimicrobial preservation for multi-use vials.
  • GHK-Cu: Sterile water, PBS, or other aqueous research buffers are suitable. GHK-Cu is highly water-soluble and does not require bacteriostatic water.

Always reconstitute by injecting solvent gently against the vial wall and allowing the powder to dissolve by swirling - do not shake or vortex.

All three are incretin-based metabolic peptides but differ in their receptor target profiles:

  • GLP-SM: GLP-1 receptor monoagonist. A long-established reference profile in this class.
  • GLP-TZ: Dual GLP-1 and GIP receptor agonist. Research often reports enhanced metabolic outcomes versus GLP-1 monoagonism alone.
  • GLP-RT: Triple GLP-1, GIP, and glucagon receptor agonist. The broadest receptor coverage of the three for metabolic investigation.
